Briefing

Le Challenge débute le 1er décembre 2015 pour une durée indéterminée.

The challenge begins on the first of December 2015 for an indefinite period.

1-Définitions / Definitions

-DOW : Days of Wonder

-Bataille : Partie jouée en 2 manches aller-retour avec l’Axe puis les Alliés.

-Battle: two-game match played successively with Axis and Allies.

-Victoire. Gagner une manche sur une Bataille, peu importe le résultat final de la Bataille.

-Victory: Winning a game for one battle, no matter the battle’s final result.

-Victoire décisive. Gagner une Bataille au nombre de médailles.

-Decisive victory: Win a battle at the overall medal count.
-Victoire totale. Gagner les 2 manches d’une Bataille.

-Total victory: Win the two games of a battle.

-Les Grades sont nommés par l'abréviation standard se trouvant à gauche de la rubrique "Grades" de DOW. Abréviation des Grades

-The ranks are designated with the standard abbreviation which is located left of the ranks section of DOW. Ranks abbreviation

2-Fair Play

-L'Officier disputant le Challenge aura à cœur de diversifier le plus possible les adversaires et les grades affrontés.

-The Officer taking part in the challenge will strive to diversify as much as possible the adversaries and the ranks he faces.

-Toutefois, aucune Bataille livrée contre l'IA ne comptera pour la validation d'un grade. Les adversaires doivent être exclusivement humains.

-However, no battle fought against the AI will be taken into account for a rank validation. The adversaries must be exclusively human beings.

3-Corpus
-Pour les 4 premiers grades (BG, MG, LTG et GEN), le Corpus à partir duquel sera validé le Challenge se compose de 77 maps.

-For the first 4 ranks (BG, MG, LG and GEN), the corpus from which the challenge will be validated is composed of 77 maps.

-Pour le grade de GA, le Corpus se compose de 103 maps.

-For the rank of GA, the corpus is composed of 103 maps.

Corpus

4-Participation
-Le Challenge est ouvert à tous les Officiers, quel que soit le grade obtenu avec DOW sur le Online.

-The challenge is open to all the officers, whatever their rank obtained with DOW online.

-Le passage du BG est obligatoire pour tous les Officiers qui ne sont pas Général promu par DOW.

-The completion of BG is mandatory for all the Officers who have not yet been promoted General by DOW.

-Le passage du BG est facultatif pour tous les Officiers qui sont déjà Général promu par DOW.

-The completion of BG is voluntary for all the Officers who are already General promoted by DOW.

-Les Généraux promus par DOW peuvent donc commencer le Challenge en passant directement le MG.

-Therefore, Generals promoted by DOW can start the challenge by taking the MG directly.

-Toutefois, les Généraux promus par DOW peuvent également faire l'intégralité du Challenge en commençant par passer le BG.

-However, Generals promoted by DOW can, if they want, take the whole challenge starting by the BG.

-Si un Officier, quel que soit son grade sur DOW, passe les 5 grades du Challenge, il aura droit en plus de son grade de GA, à une citation spéciale.

-If an Officer, whatever his rank on DOW, achieves the 5 ranks of the challenge, he will be awarded a special citation in top of his rank of GA.

-Un Général promu par DOW, qui atteint le grade de GA, en ayant commencé le Challenge par le grade de MG, peut obtenir le GA avec citation en passant le BG.

-A General promoted by DOW who reaches the rank of GA after having started the challenge by the rank of MG, can obtain the GA with citation by passing the BG.

5-Critères d'attribution des grades / Criteria for attribution of ranks

BG / Victoire décisive sur les 77 maps du Corpus.

MG / A partir de la promotion au grade de BG, victoire sur les 77 maps du Corpus avec le camp Axe et le camp Allié.

MG / From the promotion to the rank of BG, victory with the Axis camp and the Allies camp on the 77 maps of the corpus.

LTG / A partir de la promotion au grade de MG, victoire totale sur les 77 maps du Corpus.

LTG / From the promotion to the rank of MG, total victory on the 77 maps of the corpus.

GEN / A partir de la promotion au grade de LTG, victoire totale sur les 77 maps du Corpus avec un différentiel de médailles de 4 ou plus.

GEN / From the promotion to the rank of LTG, total victory on the 77 maps of the corpus with a medal count difference of 4 or more.

20-16 / 16-12 / 14-10 / 12-8 / 10-6 / 8-4.

GA / A partir de la promotion au grade de GEN, victoire totale sur les 103 maps du Corpus avec un différentiel de médailles de 2 ou plus par manche.

GA / From the promotion to the rank of GEN, total victory on the 103 maps of the corpus with a medal count difference of 2 or more per game.

10-8 10-8 / 8-6 8-6 / 7-5 7-5 / 6-4 6-4 / 5-3 5-3 / 4-2 4-2.

6-Promotion

-Lorsque l'Officier prense avoir rempli les conditions d'obtention d'un grade, il se déclare sur le Topic dédié à cet effet et intitulé "Challenge des Généraux Online", situé sur le forum Memoir' 44 Online - Français. L'Officier indique sa nationalité et la nationalité du grade qu'il choisit de porter.

-When the Officer thinks he has fulfilled the requirements to obtain a rank, he declares himself on the dedicated topic named « Challenge des Généraux Online » that is located on the forum Memoir’44 Online – French-. The Officer states his nationality and the nationality of the grade he chooses to wear.

-Après vérification, le grade est attribué à l'Officier.

-After verification, the rank is attributed to the Officer.

-Le Challenge pour passer le grade suivant, commence à la date où le grade a été attribué.

-The challenge to take the next higher rank begins at the date at which the rank has been conferred.

-Les Officiers promus sont inscrits sur le Capitol ici . Leur grade figure également dans leur dossier militaire.

-The promoted Officers are registered on the Capitol here . Their rank is also recorded in their military file.
